Pastina is a combination of various finely ground minerals and hydraulic binder. Pastina floors, already well-known at the end of the last century, were very popular at the end of the nineteenth century and early twentieth century due to the skill of the craftsmen who made them. Pastina floors have decorated villas, palaces and churches dating back to earlier times and give today's visitors to these buildings the pleasure of admiring a unique type of flooring.
